Assemblies
The personal, moral, social and spiritual education of young people
is very important to us. We provide an education in these areas which is
thoughtful and sensitive. We encourage students to be caring. The
content takes account of the multi-faith, urban society in which we live
and above all emphasises responsibility and care. Staff delivering
these programmes are well trained and fully briefed to handle all issues
carefully.
Assemblies contribute to the moral, spiritual, personal education of young people and are appropriately constructed for the urban, multi-cultural society represented in school. All manner of faiths are covered. We regard assemblies seriously and have a planned annual programme. Music, video, quiet reflection and thought provoking themes are central to our presentation. Students are regularly asked to participate in assembly.
