Personal belongings
The school and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea can accept no liability whatsoever for any articles (this includes money, jewellery, mobile phones, MP3 players or any other form of valuables) brought onto the school premises. Parents are asked to bear this in mind and take out their own insurance for bicycles and any other articles students may bring on to the premises.
Where possible all articles should be marked for security purposes and all items of clothing named. Students may cycle to school but must walk their cycles in the school grounds for safety reasons. Students may not bring into school any ICT software or computer discs to use with our ICT equipment. The school has an Internet Policy which all students are asked to sign. Students may have a mobile phone but it must be unseen and switched off at all times. School accepts no responsibility for its loss. Given current police concerns about the safety of young people with mobile phones, the school urges students and parents to consider whether having a mobile phone for school is necessary.
Students are not permitted to use mobile phones or listen to MP3 players whilst on the school site.On occasion students may be photographed for the purpose of school display or publicity. There is opportunity to discuss this during the admission interview.
