Dance at A Level is about developing creative, analytical, technical and expressive skills. Whilst acquiring experience of dance performance and choreography you will also engage in critical thinking about dance and its wider artistic and cultural context. As an artist you study the craft of choreography and work to create dance which is original, innovative, exciting and challenging. As an athlete you train hard to achieve peak physical condition, enhancing your technical and performance skills to the highest possible degree. You will perform in your own work as well as having the opportunity to produce professional repertoire.
 
This may be a valuable course for you if you are interested in reading any of the following at University: 
 
Dance, Choreography, Creative Writing, Performance and Events Production, Arts Management, Stage management.
