University is the common route of progression for our Sixth Form students. Dr. Linda Kirk M.A. (Cantab.), Ph.D. (Lond.), FRHistS, a friend of the Sixth Form, has worked for over forty years as an admissions tutor at the University of Sheffield and is a Cambridge graduate, visited for four days this half term. She met with each of our Sixth Form students and provided valuable guidance regarding the university application process.

Time has been invested in the development of Year 13 students’ Personal Statements and Year 12 students were the privileged recipients of her candid guidance in making the leap from completing GCSEs to A-Level. Students could not have wished to receive more learned advice.
