Congratulations to Vanessa on achieving second place in United Learning’s International Art Competition. The contest brought together junior artists from across United Learning’s schools to be judged by an industry professional. Vanessa’s piece, Self Portrait: Unspoken, will now be displayed in Tokyo’s National Art Centre alongside the work of her fellow finalists. Wednesday's Art Aptitude Exhibition was the perfect way to finish off the Easter term. Parents, teachers & students had the opportunity to view the work our KS3 pupils had been working on throughout the Winter. The students had taken inspiration from artists such as CJ Hendry & Georgia O'Keefe to recreate images from penicil, charcoal, watercolour & ink.
