Business Studies

The purpose of the Business Studies curriculum is to: equip students with a broad understanding of how business operate and the skills needed to participate effectively in the world of work and enterprise.

GCSE Business Studies is a course that introduces students to the concepts that underpin businesses: the management of human resources and material resources; economic principles that determine value, supply and demand; calculative concepts that allow for forecasts, predictions and measures of success; legal considerations which secure the principles of business management.
