Art Aptitude Admissions

Holland Park School has particular expertise in the teaching of the visual arts. Each year, 10% of places in the Year 7 intake are allocated to students who demonstrate an aptitude for Art.

Art Aptitude places are offered regardless of the applicant’s distance from the school. Students applying under this criterion must complete the electronic Supplementary Information Form (link here) and attend an Art Aptitude assessment at the school. Places are offered in descending order according to each applicant’s assessment score.

All students applying through the Art Aptitude criterion must also apply to Holland Park School through the standard secondary school admissions process and attend the school’s banding test.

Applications for entry into Year 7 in September 2027 must be submitted by 5.00pm on Monday 28 September 2026, using the application link on this page.

The Art Aptitude assessment will take place on Saturday 3 October 2026, from 8.30am. Applicants must be available to attend on this date, as no alternative assessment sessions will be offered.
