Ofsted is clear that leaders are “forensic in their approach to working closely with pupils and their families to identify any potential barriers to pupils' success” and that school systems are built around the knowledge of “what different pupils need to thrive”.

Importantly, this commitment to inclusivity and ambition for every student ensures young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities and those who have other additional vulnerabilities “are well supported to achieve their full potential”.
