Drama

The purpose of the Drama curriculum is to: provide a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment in which every student has the opportunity to flourish and fully develop their creative skills, which will, in turn foster self-confidence, personal growth and a life-long appreciation for the Arts.

A high-quality Drama education should engage, inspire, and challenge pupils, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to experiment, invent and create their own dramatic pieces. As our students’ progress, they should be able to think critically and develop a more rigorous understanding of the different genres of Drama, they should understand how performing arts reflect and shape our history, and contribute to the culture, creativity, and wealth of our nation.
