In 2000 the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea set about the task of changing the fortunes of the school. The Ofsted reports of 2003, 2007, 2011, 2014 and 2020 chart the school's story and there is one consistently clear judgement: that leadership is outstanding. The school is proud of its distributed leadership and a wide variety of colleagues contribute to the strategic direction of the curriculum, the quality of teaching , extra curricular and the care and well being of students . Investors in People charts leaders' progress and helps them focus on continuing development. The Inclusion Mark Award ensures that leaders are mindful of all forms of inclusivity and a staff development programme creates leadership opportunities for all, with the quality of teaching at its core. Leaders work with the Prince's Teaching Institute to enable collaboration and thus create cutting edge approaches to teaching.  Leadership by students is enshrined in diverse and student elected teams. Times and need change and quite rightly leadership is widely distributed.
