Holland Park Ethos Awards

Our annual summer achievement recognition evening – The Holland Park School Ethos Awards – took place on Thursday of last week. With the hall bedecked with plants to illustrate our central message of celebrating students' growth and development, parents, students and staff gathered to celebrate and recognise an exceptional group of students. An array of awards were given to a wide range of pupils: some whom departments had chosen for their exceptional performance in that subject, some who had received the most nominations from teachers, and some who had been awarded the most achievement points across the year.

We heard touching readings from our First Story group's published anthology Seeing Through The Feathers and heard stunning musical performances from Kate, Maurice and Hassan (Y8) before concluding words from Dame Sally Coates, Executive Principal. As ever, such evenings are a reminder of the vast array of talent, determination, creativity and progress of so many of our students, including those were nominated but did not receive awards on the night. Gold Subject Awards, along with other rewards, will be given in this week's assemblies for each year group.
