Place2Be provides the academy with clinical staff who work with the pastoral team to provide a whole school approach.
Staff are supported through Place2Think and resources are shared to increase mental health awareness and provide a robust pastoral care for all students.
Place2Be offers comprehensive mental health support to students, including one-to-one therapy sessions , group interventions through 'The Journey of Hope' and Place2Talk, which is a lunchtime self-referral service. All these therapeutic sessions are tailored to address students individual mental health challenges. Through a range of therapeutic modalities such as talking therapies, play therapy, and CBT-based interventions, students are provided with a safe and confidential space to explore and manage their feelings, tackle life challenges, and address school-related pressures and friendship issues.
