Safeguarding

Everyone who comes into contact with children and their families has an important role to play in safeguarding children. School staff are particularly important as they are in a position to identify concerns early and provide help for children, to prevent concerns from escalating. Schools and their staff form part of a wider safeguarding system for children. We recognise that our students may be vulnerable during their school years and will always adopt a sensitive and caring approach to support them and their families.

The governors and staff will carry out their responsibilities efficiently, effectively and diligently to ensure that the school is a safe and effective learning environment for our students.

Mr Nicholas Robson, Associate Head, is our Designated Safeguarding Lead.

Mr Raihani and Ms Wickham are our Deputy Safeguarding Leads.

Mr Roy Blatchford CBE is the governor with responsibility for safeguarding.

Outside school hours, students can seek support via Childline on 0800 1111. The phone
call is free and it is a confidential helpline. In an emergency, please call 999.

If you are a parent or another adult who has concerns about the safety of one of our students, please contact Mr Robson our Designated Safeguarding Lead via our Reception on 020 7908 1000 or via email at dsl@hollandparkschool.co.uk.
